Upon receiving the call from Pininfarina's PR man, asking if Car Design News would like to head to Torino for a preview of its latest concept car (not a hard offer to accept), we had no other information than its name – Sergio – and an abstract teaser shot of a detail. What if it's simply some unremarkable supermini – maybe even an electric one?
The new Mercedes-Benz S-class must be hustling toward the developmental-cycle finish line, because it's been spotted en masse in places such as Toronto (where it must be undergoing cold-weather testing) and Irvine, Calif. (where it must be gauging the interest of Benz-crazy vox populi). Because as devoid as it is of bodywork-breaking pillboxes, camera-obfuscating swirl paint, and surly engineers, the fact that it's seen here in little more than some sticky paper and a pair of cheap sunglasses on the driver means that the elder statesman of the automotive world is readying its next debut.
Ferrari has revealed the first tease photos of the new Enzo (F70 / F150) in the Ferrari Magazine ahead of its reveal. We know what the front of the new Ferrari Enzo looks like thanks to photo sneaked at a private presentation for the Ferrari faithful recently, and we’ve seen the F70 on video, albeit camouflaged. But now we know what the back end of the F70 looks like thanks to a teaser photo on the latest edition of the Ferrari Magazine.
